Become a Volunteer

The Red Cross responds to a disaster in the United States every eight minutes. Whether an entire region is devastated by floods or a family's home is distroyed by fire, the Red Cross provides food, clothing, shelter and other necessities to those in need, remaining as long as the recovery takes. In fact, we're active in communities before disaster strikes, teaching people how to prepare for disasters and minimize their potential for distruction.
But we can't do it without YOU!
Becoming a Volunteer
Everyone is capable of making a difference, big or small. But the first step is to get involved, and the Red Cross is here to help. We need YOU to aid in the many Red Cross activities worldwide, including health and safety courses, blood donations, services to the Armed Forces, disaster relief both local and global, and any other opportunies that benefit the lives and communities of those around us.
The first step to getting involved is to complete the Volunteer Application, and return it to the American Red Cross of Kosciusko County at 320 N. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, IN 46580 as soon as possible. After that a Red Cross staff member will work with you to see where your talents can best be utilized to serve the community.
We thank you for your interest, and dearly wish that you'll become part of the Red Cross team!
Background Check
For the safety of our clients, volunteers, and staff, the American Red Cross has mandated that all potential Red Cross employees and volunteers complete a background check (at no charge to them) whether they are new to the organization or have been associated with the Red Cross in the past. Upon completing a volunteer application, the staff of the Red Cross will help you complete a background check inquiry prior to your start as a volunteer. Click here to be taken to the site
