CPR/First Aid Courses
Adult CPR
This course lasts approximately 3.75 hours and gives
individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide
basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies until advanced medical
personnel take over.
Cost of this course: $40.00
Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
This two hour module teaches the individual the skill
necessary to care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the use
of an automated external diffibrillator (AED).
Cost of this course: $25.00
Infant/Child CPR
The purpose of this course is to give individuals the
knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and provide basic
care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in children and infants until
advanced medical personnel arrive. Book and skill card are included
in the cost.

First Aid
This course provides individuals the skills and knowledge
necessary to recognize and provide basic first aid care for injuries
and sudden illness. Book and skill card are included in the cost.

CPR for the Professional Rescuer (CPR PR)
This is an excellent class for the professional rescuer
(those with a duty to respond), and for anyone interested in becoming
one. This class teaches all of the basic skills that are taught in the
American Red Cross Community CPR course and then adds to it the next
level of care which includes two-rescuer CPR and use of breathing devices.
this course takes 9 hours. The nationally recognized certification is
valid for 1 year.

Bloodbrne Pathogens (PDT)
The object of this course is to train and provide an
understanding of the intent of the blood born pathogens regulation issued
by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); how disease
transmission occurs; serious communicable diseases; precautions to prevent
disease transmission; and what to do if and exposure ocurs. This course
is part of the preventing disease education program.

Basic HIV/AIDS Program
The object of this course is to identify risks and develop
skills related to decision making to avoid the risks of HIV, and develop
skills to reduce the risk of HIV infection. This course is part of the
preventing disease education program.

Pathogens
This course trains individuals and families to overcome
any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care
for life threatening emergencies such as respiratory or cardiac problems,
sudden illness or injuries to adults, infants, or children. Book is
included in the cost.

Injury Control Modules
These modules are a series of 1 hour, awareness level
modules on topics that can help you reduce costly on-the-job injuries
and help employees avoid major health risks. They are an efficient way
